Project Overview

BDO has partnered with CW3 Events & Studio to design and deliver their National Leaders Conference in 2026. As a flagship internal event, the brief was to bring together over 350 leaders from across Australia for a high-impact experience that seamlessly balanced strategic content, meaningful connection, and a strong sense of place. CW3 was engaged to deliver the event end-to-end, from venue sourcing and supplier management, transfer and travel, through to creative direction and full logistical execution.

Delivered across three days, including two full conference days and a curated evening program, the experience was designed to maintain energy, elevate engagement, and create moments that resonate beyond the event itself. The conference opened with a powerful and immersive moment, a live string quartet performance leading into a bespoke opening video designed and produced by CW3. This created a highly emotive and energetic start, setting the tone for the days ahead.

With over 35 speakers across the agenda, the program combined keynote sessions, leadership discussions, and interactive formats to drive both insight and connection. Each element was carefully considered to ensure a seamless flow and consistent delegate engagement throughout.

The project delivered a cohesive and highly engaging event experience, with each component thoughtfully designed to build connection and create lasting impact

The program unfolded as a progressive journey, beginning with an open-air welcome event on Crown Perth’s Great Lawn, where a live astronomer session anchored the experience in Western Australia’s unique sense of place. The next evening was a premium offsite dining experience at Sandalford Wines, seamlessly blending local produce, wines, and live music to create an elevated yet relaxed environment for meaningful networking. The event concluded with a high-energy gala at Crown Perth, providing a vibrant and memorable finale.

Across the program, integrated activations such as a Digital Hub with AI photobooth and a curated Western Australian merchandise experience enhanced delegate engagement, offering personalised and interactive touchpoints. Collectively, these elements contributed to a well-rounded, immersive experience that balanced content, connection, and destination storytelling.
